Case Study - Plan Financial and the role of a Brand Photoshoot
Plan Financial is a Bristol-based Independent Financial Advisory business run by husband and wife team Craig and Michelle Raison. They needed to update a website that they'd had for over 5 years and felt they had outgrown.
They had an existing brand, colours and logo they wanted to keep, but incorporate into a more modern site.
It was important to them that their personal approach come across to their customers via their website so I advised them to invest in a business photoshoot.
Stock photos can be very useful when used correctly but they can sometimes create a barrier between you and your clients. Site visitors are often left wondering - "who's behind the photos?" You may want your customers to get to know you a bit before they meet you in person, this can certainly encourage someone to pick up the phone.
Your photographer will get to know you and ask how you would like to be portrayed on your photos - they may even create a storyline to weave through your site. Through the pictures on your site, your visitors will be able to build a picture of you and your business and if you've got it right, this will encourage them to pick up the phone and book an appointment.
